The Marcia Mills Foundation was founded in December 2021 in Kingston, Jamaica to serve children, youths and young women who have Special Needs. It is a charity organization. We're dedicated to serving our community and making a positive impact in the world.
Marcia was a daughter, sister, a cousin, an aunt, and a friend. She had special needs - language delays, receptive and expressive language disorder struggled to communicate meaning or messages clearly and she struggled to understand and process messages and information communicated to her by others. Marcia would often cry when she had difficulty expressing herself, understanding or when she was yelled at. She struggled in social and academic situations.
Yet, she was a kind and gentle soul. She loved people, especially children. She was kind, loyal, loving, and faithful. Marcia died on her birthday on September 30, 2012. The Marcia Mills Foundation was formed to honor her memory and legacy of kindness by helping others with Special Needs.
Learn about the services we offer and how we're working to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. We're committed to improving our community.
