Lashana Jones - Holness hails from Kingston, Jamaica, a place where she was raised with the value of giving, whether it is through money, time, or material items. This belief has led her to eagerly join the Marcia Mills Foundation, where she aims to contribute in any way, she can enrich someone else's life. She lives by the principle: “If I can assist someone on their journey through life, then my living will not be in vain.”
She has spent over two decades as a statistician, currently employed at the Supreme Court of Jamaica, where she takes pride in work. In 2019, she received the Chief Justice of Jamaica award for exceptional service to the public.
Her Christian faith is the cornerstone of her life, and she considers it her greatest achievement. Lashana is enthusiastic about making a difference and thrilled when she is referred to as “the salt of the earth” (a very good person), a reminder that her actions and presence should have a positive impact and lead to change.
